Cats in Our Catteries

Every year Cat Welfare Sussex is inundated with calls from members of the public, social services, local police, environment agencies and animal organisations all asking for our help and advice concerning unwanted or stray cats.

These are just a few of the very many fortunate felines that have been rescued by our Charity during the year.

Fulling Mill Cottage

Cat Welfare Sussex has been bequeathed Fulling Mill Cottage in Fittleworth.  Our benefactor has requested that the charity takes care of his cats, and prevent his old family home and grounds from being demolished and re-developed.

After careful thought, the trustees have decided to restore Fulling Mill Cottage to its former Glory. As a small local charity with limited funds we are aware of the challenges that lie ahead. However we cannot stand by and watch this unique corner of Rural Sussex disappear forever.

CWS Events

The cats in our catteries are looking for good homesAs this fabulous summer of 2015 gets into full swing, here are our planned events. We are also planning the Annual Sponsored Walk from Hove Lagoon to the Palace Pier and back - via Mrs Bumbles Cafe on Sunday 6th September at noon.

The Photographs that were taken of the Sponsored Walk can be seen here on our photographer's website.

In 2014 we raised just under £10,000. With your help and that of your family and friends we just may be able to reach £15,000 this year.

A big thank you to all those who walk to raise funds for us!
