Help Us !

It is extremely hard for local charities to keep pace with the advertising power of the large National organisations and we rely on the kindness andgenerosity of the supporting public to enable us to help our feline friends in need.

Cats in Our Catteries

Every year Cat Welfare Sussex is inundated with calls from members of the public, social services, local police, environment agencies and animal organisations all asking for our help and advice concerning unwanted or stray cats.

The cats in our catteries are looking for good homesThese are just a few of the very many fortunate felines that have been rescued by our Charity during the year.

Fulling Mill Cottage

Cat Welfare Sussex has been bequeathed Fulling Mill Cottage in Fittleworth.  Our benefactor has requested that the charity takes care of his cats, and prevent his old family home and grounds from being demolished and re-developed.

After careful thought, the trustees have decided to restore Fulling Mill Cottage to its former Glory. As a small local charity with limited funds we are aware of the challenges that lie ahead. However we cannot stand by and watch this unique corner of Rural Sussex disappear forever.

CWS Events

As the summer is drawing to a close, the final Cat Welfare Sussex event for 2012 was the Annual Sponsored Walk from Hove Lagoon to the Palace Pier and back - via Mrs Bumbles Cafe!

The Photographs that were taken of the Sponsored Walk can be seen here on our photographer's website.

We will update you here with the final total raised by our walkers, once the all the sponsorship monies have been collected and returned.

A big thank you to all those who walked to raise funds for us!
