Fundraising Events 2015
We could do with more volunteers to ‘ rattle’ Collecting Buckets during the event and people to help on our charity stalls.
Sunday 19th July- Charity Stalls at the Brighton RSPCA Open Day and Dog Show 11am – 4pm
A great fun day – general helpers needed please.
Sunday 6th September -Annual Sponsored Walk for the Animals Hove Lagoon to Brighton Pier and back 12pm – 3pm
Raising Funds for Cat Welfare Sussex, Sussex Pet Rescue, Lost Cats Brighton, City Cat Shelter and Happy Retirements Horse Rescue
Our Walker numbers are GOING DOWN dramatically due to so many Brighton events. PLEASE, PLEASE try to walk for us and encourage friends and family to come along as well. We would like to see as many dogs walking as possible (on leads at all times please)
Businesses, and group organisations are also welcome. Animal Themed Fancy Dress is optional.
As the Walk raises money for several organisations we are unable to accept individual online or text payments.
We really do need volunteers to help with setting up, to assist on the Information Desk and man the Tombola – from 10.30
We have several ‘Charity Tin Collection’ days booked with local supermarkets.
If you are able to volunteer for approx 2 hours on the day that would really help to raise much needed funds.
Throughout the year we have Bric a Brac stalls at the ‘Open Door Morning’ Methodist Church Hall, Brunswick Rd, Shoreham.
If you can help in any way and for Sponsored Walk info/ Sponsor Forms, please tel Julie – 01273 423861 or email Julie@catwelfaresussex.com
How about you?
We always need good quality items and unwanted gifts to sell or as to give as raffle prizes.
If you feel that you could organise an event for us (at any time of the year) we would be extremely grateful. There are only so many hours in a day in which to run the cattery, answer the phone and deal with admin and organise fund raising. Any help would be much appreciated!
The Internet is full of ideas of how to raise money for charity. Please let us know if you intend to host an event but do remember the laws regarding fund raising.
Please watch this space for any additional fund raising events and keep your fingers crossed, please, for a lovely sunny 2015.
